A few essential addons that prospective raiders need to get: (all available at www.curse.com) Deadly Boss Mods - The raiders long time friend, will give you time bars on all the nasty boss abilities and raid warnings of imminent special events that require attention. Omen Threat Meter - Accurate and simple, although not as useful as it was before the threat generation changes in WotLK, still a valuable tool especially to tanks on aggro sensative fights. Recount Damage Meter - Some people may question why they need a damage meter at all, but there is no beter way to measure the effectiveness of your class than combat data. If you fall behind on the DPS, threat or healing, looking at the data can give a valuable insight into where either you went wrong, or what other people were doing right. Decursive - This one is for classes that can cure specific effects in the schools of: Poisons, Curses, Magic, Desiese. So simple, it creates a samll box for every player in your group that will light up whenever one or more players are affected by something you can cure. A simple left or right click on the corresponding box will target the player and cure the afflction. Invaluable targeting mod. If anyone would like to add any general or class specific addons to this list please post away.

one addon i cant seem to do without on my chars is benecaster. can be used by any class. very easy to heal with it as u have buttons next to party frames so no need to keep changing targets. Never used in raid situation so dont know how clutered screen will look. but im my eyes it is a must for any healer

Also, Can people please make sure that they have Teamspeak loaded on their pc, and that it works. You dont have to have a mic, and talk, but you do have to be able to listen to me. The server information is on the guildinfo tab, you can just copy and paste it there from wow. If you have any problems, please let me or one of the other officers know, and we can help you get it set up. The same also applies to all the addons listed above.
